Home Building Compensation Fund

As a licenced contractor or builder in NSW, you need to consider your mandatory obligations regarding HBCF.

It is a legislated requirement under the Home Building Act 1989 that you arrange HBCF for all projects over $20,000 (unless specifically exempted).

HBCF protects homeowners against incomplete and defective residential building work where the licenced builder or contractor is no longer able to meet their contractual obligations.

We understand how critical HBCF can be for your business – our specialist team will work with you on all aspects of the HBCF process, committing to a high service level with pre-agreed service standards at all levels of engagement.
